January 2010. Susanne Baumgartner, Patti Valkenburg and Jochen Peter have won the Best Paper Award of the Media Effects division of the German Communication Association (DGPuk). The anonymous reviewers ranked the paper entitled "Assessing Causality in the Relationship between Adolescents’ Risky Sexual Online Behavior and their Perceptions of this Behavior" as number one paper. Baumgartner, Valkenburg, and Peter received their award at the annual conference of the Media Effects division which was held in Berlin in January 2010.
