CcaM strives to better understand the role of the media in children's and adolescents' lives.

April 2011. Dr. J. Peter has been appointed full professor Media Entertainment at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences of the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Jochen Peter conducts research on the consequences of media use on the psychosocial development of youth.

April 2011. Dr. Jochen Peter has been appointed full professor Media Entertainment at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences of the University of Amsterdam (UvA).

Jochen Peter conducts research on the consequences of media use on the psychosocial development of youth. Currently, he is investigating the cognitive and affective processes underlying the influence of sexual media on teenagers' attitudes and behavior.
