Karin Fikkers (MA, 2010) started her study career at the Business Communication department of the Radboud University Nijmegen, after which she completed the Research Master Language and Communication (Radboud University, University of Tilburg) cum laude. As of January 2011 she is a Ph.D. Student in Patti Valkenburg's project ‘The Entertainization of Childhood’, which is financed by the European Research Council. In this project, she will investigate the relationship between media entertainment and aggressive behavior with children and adolescents.
