Susanne Baumgartner (MA, 2008, cum laude) is a Ph.D student in the Amsterdam School of Communication Research, ASCoR, at the University of Amsterdam. From 2003 till 2008 she studied Communication Science, Social Psychology and English Literature at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Before starting her Ph.D in Amsterdam, she was involved in several research projects at the University of Zurich, at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and at the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California. Currently, she investigates adolescents’ sexual risk behavior on the internet.
